This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial, Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Mercury Systems, Inc. Address: 50 Minuteman, Rd. Andover, MA. 01810 United States. This requirement is to procure an ultra-high speed data converter, ideal for directly digitizing RF signals. The Government intends to negotiate solely with Mercury Systems, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items, applies.
A determination by the government not to compete this requirement is solely at the discretion of the government. However, all responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The applicable NAICS Code is 334419 and the business size standard is 750 employees.
