This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial, Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with L3 Technologies, Inc. Address: 1350 Jefferson RD Rochester, New York, 14623-3106 United States. The requirement to procure a warranty for the main conduit for transmitting and receiving SATCOM signals. The Government intends to negotiate solely with L3 technologies, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items, applies.
A determination by the government not to compete this requirement is solely at the discretion of the government. However, all responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The applicable NAICS Code is 334220 and the business size standard is 1,250 employees.
