N66001-22-Q-6257 – Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source to Rohde & Schwarz USA Inc.

The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial, Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Rohde & Schwarz. The requirement is for the purchase of the following:
ITEM 0001:
Transceiver System
Manufacturer: Universal Shielding Corp.
QTY: 1
ITEM 0002:
Radio Network Management System (RNMS) Software
Manufacturer: Universal Shielding Corp.
QTY: 1
The above supplies are for a transceiver system used to generate radio frequency (RF) communication signals from data to be transmitted out an antenna, and generate data from received RF communications
signals. Rohde & Schwarz is the only vendor providing equipment compatible with network, software, and other minimum Government requirements.
A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government. However, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The applicable NAICS Code is 334515 and the business size standard is 750 employees.
