N66001-21-C-0149 - Notice of Contract Award to SOL SOLUTIONS, LLC for Environmental Support Services

Pacific) has awarded a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract on a sole source basis to Sol Solutions LLC, an 8(a) Small Business. The purpose of this contract is to provide environmental support services for NIWC Pacific for operations at all San Diego campus locations. The environmental support services will consist of operation of the Hazardous Material Minimization Centers (HAZMINCEN), Environmental Management System (EMS) Auditing, and other routine environmental program support including "multimedia environmental management." The term "multi-media environmental management" refers to the management of programs that address air, water, waste, hazardous materials use, and other environmental, health and safety regulatory requirements across all major Federal, State and local regulatory areas. Multimedia support services include Occupational Safety and Health Services related to hazardous materials and their use (e.g. the monitoring of drinking water, and inspection and sampling of building materials that contain lead and/or asbestos). The contract is for eight years (i.e. a one-year base period with seven one-year option periods).
