Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is a Department of Defense entity responsible for research and development, test and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support organization for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft, and unmanned vehicles.

This contract is for non-personal services related to the fabrication, assembly, testing, and delivery of cable assemblies for the OHIO and COLUMBIA classes of submarines. The goal is to enhance propulsion, power, and auxiliary machinery system capabilities to improve fleet readiness.

Work Details
The contractor shall fabricate, assemble, test, and deliver cable assemblies with a minimum order of 10 units and a maximum of 65 units over three years. Each cable assembly will consist of:
(a) A subsea electro-mechanical communications cable with machined mounting components;
(b) Dry-mate electrical connectors;
(c) Water isolating depth pressure splice material/kits.

The contract includes specific items such as:
- **Item 0001**: Non Recurring Engineering - OHIO (6 Months)
- **Item 0002**: 10' Prototype Units Fabrication - OHIO (1 Each), P/N AM711468P10
- **Item 0003**: 1500' Prototype Units Fabrication - OHIO (1 Each), P/N AM711468P1500
- **Item 0004**: Tow Cable Assembly - Unit Fabrication w/1,500' - OHIO (5 Each), P/N AM711468
- **Item 0005**: Non Recurring Engineering - COLUMBIA (6 Months)
- **Item 0006**: 10' Prototype Units Fabrication - COLUMBIA (1 Each), P/N AM711437P10
- **Item 0012**: Tow Cable Assembly - Unit Fabrication w/1,500' - OHIO (10 Each), P/N AM711468.

Additionally, First Article Testing will be conducted on prototypes before full production.

Period of Performance
The delivery of fully assembled Tow Cable units will be required within six months from issuance of an order.
