Description

This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

Request for Quotation (RFQ) N5523626Q0101 is being issued as a total small business set-aside. The subject solicitation is being processed using FAR Part 12. Background
The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) is seeking to procure services for the replacement of non-skid surfaces on the lower and upper decks of a caisson at the Graving Dock. This solicitation is issued as a total small business set-aside under RFQ N5523626Q0101.

The applicable code for this procurement pertains to Shipbuilding and Repairing.

Work Details
The vendor shall provide the following services:
1. Hydroblast/steel shot blast (if needed), power clean inaccessible edges and verticals up to 4” on interior and exterior decks.
2. Apply two full coats of primer to interior and exterior decks.
3. Apply non-skid coatings on interior and exterior decks.
4. After cured, apply polysiloxane topcoats to all areas not receiving non-skid.

Period of Performance
The contract work is scheduled to commence on August 10, 2026, and conclude by September 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the SWRMC Graving Dock located at 3755 Brinser Street, Building #82, San Diego, CA 92136. Vendors must have DBIDS as pier access is necessary for executing the work.
