Background
The contract is a Regional Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Construction Maintenance Contract for Asphalt Paving and Minor Concrete at Various Government Sites in the Greater Hampton Roads, Area of Responsibility (AOR). The contract will be performed over a five-year ordering period from the date of contract award, including a base period and four 12-month option periods not to exceed sixty (60) months from the date of contract award. The contract is being solicited as a Competitive, Small Business Set-Aside with a total estimated magnitude of construction between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000.

Work Details
The work includes providing services under a Regional IDIQ Contract for asphalt and concrete repair and replacement and various types of maintenance repairs and preparations associated with asphalt and concrete repair and replacement. Types of work to be included in this contract are as follows but are not limited to asphalt road and parking lots repair and replacement; concrete curb, gutters, and sidewalk repair and replacement; asphalt markings and signage; storm drainage systems; earthwork to support asphalt and concrete repair and replacement; and demolition associated with asphalt and concrete repair and replacement. The Contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, safety, surveys, scoping, layout work, engineering and management necessary to fulfill the requirements of this contract and each task order in a timely manner.

Period of Performance
The duration of the contract will be for a five (5) year ordering period from the date of contract award. The total five-year ordering period includes a base period and four 12-month option periods not to exceed sixty (60) months from the date of contract award.

Place of Performance
The geographic location(s) where the construction projects will be performed is in the Greater Hampton Roads Area of Responsibility (AOR).
