Background
N4008424R0074 INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY MULTIPLE AWARD CONSTRUCTION FOR SMALL MAGNITUDE SIZE DESIGN-BID-BUILD (DBB) REQUIREMENTS (MINI MACC) FOR THE U.S. MARINE CORPS AIR STATION, IWAKUNI, JAPAN. The solicitation package contains attachments and a Preproposal Conference and Site Visit will be held for this project. The contract is for construction projects at various U.S. Government Installations in Iwakuni, Japan and other locations within the NAVFAC FE Area of Responsibility in Japan.

Work Details
The construction projects will consist of general building type projects utilizing the DBB construction project delivery method. The proposed scope of work will include office renovation, building demolition, built-in equipment repair/replacement, piping repair/replacement, pipe lagging, electrical work, mechanical work, carpentry work, road pavement, fencing, roofing, painting, site work, concrete work, masonry, welding, and incidental removal and disposal of lead-based paint and asbestos-containing material. The contract will result in the award of approximately eight MACC where the aggregated value of all task orders awarded will not exceed $250,000,000 or Japanese Yen equivalent over an eight-year period.

Period of Performance
The performance period is mandatory and negotiable. The Contractor shall begin performance within 15 calendar days and complete it within 360 calendar days after receiving the award notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The primary location of construction projects will be at various U.S. Government Installations in Iwakuni, Japan.
