Background: The solicitation is for a Small Business Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) in the NAVFAC Washington Area of Responsibility (AOR). The contract has an estimated value of $750,000,000 over the life of the contract. The task order range is between $2,000,000 and $15,000,000. The contract will have a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods.

The contract will be performed primarily in the NAVFAC Washington AOR.

Details: The tasks to be completed under the contract include new construction, demolition, repair, alteration, and renovation of buildings and infrastructure. This includes site, civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, cyber security, and communication systems. The types of facilities that may be included are administrative buildings, industrial buildings, warehouses, maintenance buildings, communications buildings, schools/training/education buildings, personnel support buildings, recreational buildings, food service facilities, lodging facilities, medical facilities, training areas/ranges, and roads. Incidental work with specialty trades such as asbestos or lead removal may also be required.

Period of Performance: The contract will have a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. The total performance period is not to exceed 60 months.

Place of Performance: The contract will primarily be performed in the NAVFAC Washington Area of Responsibility (AOR), which includes Montgomery County in Maryland.
