Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this solicitation for moving services at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center. The mission of the VA is to provide high-quality care and support to veterans. This contract aims to establish a reliable moving and furniture installation service to facilitate operations at various facilities under the Minneapolis VA.

Work Details
The contractor will perform moving services for office furniture and related items across multiple locations, including the Main Hospital and Community Based Outlying Clinics (CBOC). The services include:

- Providing all labor, equipment, tools, vehicles, supplies, and materials necessary for moving tasks.
- Furnishing packing supplies such as furniture pads, hand trucks, dollies, and necessary tools for disassembly and reassembly of office equipment.
- Moving items like desks, file cabinets, chairs, exam tables, and bins provided by MPLS VAMC.
- Ensuring protection of government-owned furnishings during transport.
- Delivering items to specified locations within the facilities.
- Rotating items in storage or transporting miscellaneous items as needed.
- Using leased or rented vehicles for transportation; personal vehicles are prohibited.
- Maintaining a professional appearance with identifiable attire for contractor staff.
- Complying with safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.

Period of Performance
The contract period will begin on July 1, 2025, and end on June 30, 2026. There are options for four additional years extending through June 30, 2030.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations including the Minneapolis VA Medical Center and several CBOCs in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
