VA Southern Nevada Health Care System (VASNHCS) Cellular Distributive Antenna System Equipment & Install   3

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for the installation of a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) at the VA Southern Nevada Health Care System (VASNHCS) in Las Vegas. The goal of this contract is to enhance communication capabilities within the healthcare system through the implementation of a new Neutral Host Solid DAS Enhanced System, ensuring reliable connectivity for both staff and patients.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary services, licenses, and installation processes required to complete the DAS installation. This includes:
- Installation of various components such as antennas, coaxial cables, connectors, RF jumpers, and armored cables as detailed in the price/cost schedule.
- Provision of fully qualified on-site personnel who are responsible for the performance of the work.
- Adherence to VA safety standards and other applicable national standards including NFPA-99, FDA, OSHA, and Joint Commission guidelines.
- The contractor must ensure that all employees operating equipment are trained and certified.
- The contractor shall furnish service manuals and/or test equipment necessary for performance under this contract.


Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System located at 6900 North Pecos Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89086.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a Contractor’s Unique Entity ID (UEI). Contractors must provide evidence of direct experience related to the deliverables outlined in the Statement of Work and submit references for recent relevant projects. Additionally, contractors must comply with bonding requirements and ensure that all personnel involved in service/installation are fully qualified technicians.
