Description

The Contractor shall provide all personnel equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform removal of existing chiller and install of new 250-ton chiller as defined in the Statement of Work.

Background
The solicitation is for a non-personal services contract to provide a replacement for the 250-ton chiller at the John Cochran VAMC. The chiller has been repaired multiple times and is no longer economically effective to try to repair. The objective is to provide the operating room with a reliable source of cooling at all times.
The work shall be performed at 915 N. Grand, St. Louis, MO 63106.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all personnel equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform the removal of the existing chiller and installation of a new 250-ton chiller as defined in the Statement of Work. The work includes recovering and disposing of the existing refrigerant and oil charge, removing the existing unit from the roof, installing a new chiller that fits within the existing footprint, wiring into existing power and control systems, insulating new piping, and testing and start-up of the new chiller.
The contractor is also responsible for ensuring all appropriate employees possess and maintain current certifications/licenses such as a universal license, electrician journeyman certification, etc.
