Title: AEGIS Fielding and Sustainment (AEGIS F&S, N00024-23-C-5123) Follow-On Sources Sought

Purpose: Provide software engineering, software maintenance, software test, and software installation/fielding necessary to sustain and upgrade fielded AEGIS baselines.

Note that this Sources Sought is for a follow-on effort to the existing AEGIS Fielding and Sustainment contract, N00024-23-C-5123, and will not replace or duplicate efforts already awarded under the competitively awarded:

  • Systems Engineering and Software Integration (SESI) contract, N00024-24-C-5117, or
  • Software Factories multiple task order awards, N00024-24-9-5101, N00024-24-9-5102, and N00024-24-9-5103.

Description:

This is a Sources Sought per FAR 15.201. The Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is seeking capable sources to perform as the AEGIS F&S Contractor to support the U.S. Navy in continued integration, fielding, and maintenance of AEGIS-based combat systems for U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), and Foreign Nation Surface Combatant ship classes. The AEGIS F&S Contractor will provide software engineering, maintenance, integration test and support installations required to maintain and update existing AEGIS Weapon System (AWS) and AEGIS Combat System (ACS) installations. The AEGIS F&S Contractor will manage and maintain the existing AEGIS Common Source Library (CSL) software and specification repository.

This information is available to US-only companies. Companies must submit a completed and previously approved Military Critical Technical Data Agreement (DD Form 2345) or a valid CAGE Code to the Government points of contacts listed below within seven (7) calendar days of the Sources Sought release.

Background
The Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is seeking capable sources to perform as the AEGIS Fielding and Sustainment (F&S) Contractor. The goal of this contract is to support the U.S. Navy in the continued integration, fielding, and maintenance of AEGIS-based combat systems for U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), and Foreign Nation Surface Combatant ship classes. This Sources Sought is for a follow-on effort to the existing AEGIS Fielding and Sustainment contract, N00024-23-C-5123.

Work Details
The AEGIS F&S Contractor will provide software engineering, software maintenance, software testing, and software installation/fielding necessary to sustain and upgrade fielded AEGIS baselines. Specific tasks include:
- Maintenance and updating of existing AEGIS Weapon System (AWS) and AEGIS Combat System (ACS) installations.
- Management and maintenance of the existing AEGIS Common Source Library (CSL) software and specification repository.

This contract will not replace or duplicate efforts already awarded under the following contracts:
- Systems Engineering and Software Integration (SESI) contract, N00024-24-C-5117
- Software Factories multiple task order awards: N00024-24-9-5101, N00024-24-9-5102, N00024-24-9-5103.
