Installation of a Diesel Emergency Generator

Background
The Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC), part of the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) under the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) of the Department of Commerce, is responsible for the stewardship of living marine resources.

This contract aims to design and build the installation of a Diesel Emergency Generator for the Fire Pump at the James J. Howard Marine Sciences Laboratory located at 74 Magruder Road, Sandy Hook, NJ.

Work Details
The contractor is required to perform the design-build installation of a Diesel Emergency Generator specifically for a Fire Pump. This includes all necessary design, contingency planning, procurement of materials, and labor to complete the project.

The contractor must be knowledgeable about all requirements outlined in the contract documents and must verify all dimensions and equipment prior to submitting a bid quotation. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall begin performance within 0 calendar days and complete it within 30 calendar days after receiving award and notice to proceed.
