Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Nevada State Office is issuing this solicitation to replace two existing Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) units at the Caliente Crew Quarters in Caliente, Nevada. The existing HVAC systems are malfunctioning and require replacement to ensure proper climate control for the facility.

This project aims to provide a functional and efficient HVAC system that meets the needs of the crew quarters.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to replace two HVAC units at the Caliente Crew Quarters. The work includes:
- Removal and disposal of existing defective HVAC units in compliance with applicable laws.
- Installation of two new HVAC units that are equivalent to the existing units, including a 4-ton and a 2.5-ton split system air conditioner.
- Installation of new thermostats similar to existing ones.
- Provision of new gas and electrical connections, as well as new condensation drain lines.
- Obtaining any necessary permits for installation.
- Compliance with Davis-Bacon Act wage determinations for labor rates.
- Providing warranties: one year for parts and labor, three years for heat exchangers, and five years for compressors.
- Ensuring all installations follow manufacturer recommendations and using existing mounting infrastructure where applicable.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on February 27, 2026, and is expected to be completed by April 17, 2026.
