MY2026 or Newer 8+1 Passenger LHD Automatic Diesel Minibus – U.S. Embassy Ankara, Türkiye

The Embassy of the United States in Ankara, T rkiye, intends to post solicitation 19TU1526Q3642 on SAM.gov when it is available. This notice does not constitute a request for quotations and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract.

The U.S. Embassy in Ankara has a requirement for one (1) each brand-new, unused, model year 2026 or newer 8+1 passenger LHD automatic diesel minibus, Euro 6.2 or later. The requirement is for a vehicle meeting the Government's salient characteristics, not for a brand-name-only or make/model-restricted acquisition. Equivalent vehicles meeting or exceeding the salient characteristics stated in the RFQ may be considered.

At a minimum, the vehicle shall be left-hand drive (LHD), automatic transmission, 8+1 seating capacity (eight passengers plus driver), long-wheelbase minibus/passenger van configuration, diesel engine with 160 PS minimum power output, and EU6.2/Euro 6.2 or later/equivalent emissions compliant and accepted for registration in T rkiye.

The vehicle shall be built or homologated for lawful registration, operation, and use in T rkiye. Warranty coverage, authorized after-sales service, and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts support shall be available in T rkiye through authorized dealers or service providers for warranty coverage, maintenance, and repairs. The vehicle shall be delivered new, unused, and with all documentation necessary for registration in T rkiye.

The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for commercial products using FAR Part 12 in conjunction with FAR Part 13 procedures. No quotation shall be submitted in response to this notice.

All responsible sources may submit a quotation in response to the RFQ when it is issued; all timely quotations received in accordance with the RFQ will be considered by the Government. The RFQ will state the quotation due date, delivery schedule, evaluation factors, and all terms and conditions.

The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed-price purchase order/contract to the responsible quoter whose quotation conforms to the RFQ and is lowest priced technically acceptable. The Government may make award based on initial quotations without requesting quotation revisions. A pre-quotation conference is not planned for this solicitation.
