Description

1. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT TO BE USED FOR MARKET ANALYSIS ONLY TO DETERMINE THE AVAILABILITY OF POTENTIAL SMALL BUSINESS CATEGORIES FOR POTENTIAL SET-ASIDES. NO AWARDS WILL BE MADE FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME; THEREFORE, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. ALL RESPONSES WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION STRATEGY FOR FUTURE ACQUISITION.

2. The 153d Airlift Wing, Cheyenne, WY is conducting market research to identify potential sources to provide a brand name or equal product IAW the attached specifications.

3. All interested parties are invited to briefly describe how your company can meet all the requirements listed in the to the following individual: MSgt Chris Davalos at christopher.davalos.1@us.af.mil.

Background
The 153d Airlift Wing, Cheyenne, WY is conducting market research to identify potential sources to provide a brand name or equal product IAW the attached specifications. The primary purpose of the Spydercrane is to remove engines, propellers, and control surfaces from C-130 aircraft. The purchase of a second Spydercrane could potentially save over $4 million by replacing jib cranes altogether and prevent the need to source a crane from off base, saving the wing money.

Work Details
The vendor shall provide a Spydercrane with specific minimum specifications including capacity, boom length, retracted length, tip height, outriggers, swing design, and other features. The vendor shall deliver the product no later than 30 days after receipt of order to Air National Guard @ 217 Dell Range Blvd., Cheyenne, WY. The product is available via gsaadvantage.gov website.

Period of Performance
Delivery shall be made no later than 30 days after receipt of order.
