Background
The Minneapolis VA Health Care System is seeking to procure a temporary chiller rental to support its operations while a new cooling system is designed and installed. This contract is part of the Department of Veterans Affairs' mission to provide high-quality healthcare services to veterans. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the facility maintains adequate cooling during the transition period.

Work Details
The contractor will provide, deliver, install, start-up, maintain, and remove a temporary 150-ton air-cooled chiller at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System located at 1 Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN 55417. The chiller must meet the following specifications:
- Cooling capacity: Minimum 130 tons, Maximum 150 tons.
- Evaporator chilled water flow rates: Minimum 150 GPM, Maximum 625 GPM.
- Pump Performance: Maximum 500 GPM with Total Dynamic Head (TDH) of 100 feet.
- Operating temperature range for cooling leaving fluid: 40°F – 70°F; Glycol cooling leaving fluid: 10°F – 70°F.
- Power requirements: 460 volts/60 hertz/3 phase with a service capacity of 300A.

The unit must be operational by June 1st and removed by November 15th. The contractor is also responsible for all preventative maintenance and repairs and must respond within four hours of any reported equipment failure.

Base Pricing Period: June 1, 2026 - May 31, 2027; Year One Pricing Period: June 1, 2027 - May 31, 2028; Year Two Pricing Period: June 1, 2028 - May 31, 2029.
