Background
The Murrieta Creek Phase 2B project is initiated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Los Angeles District, aimed at widening the channel of Murrieta Creek from the upstream end of Phase 2A to approximately 5,220 feet downstream.

The project includes maintaining a channel area and a riparian vegetation corridor, with an estimated construction magnitude between $25 million and $100 million. The goal is to enhance flood control and environmental restoration in Riverside County, California.

The scope of work includes:
- Groundwater monitoring plan
- Comprehensive dewatering plan
- Monitoring well installation

- Installation of grade stabilizers, galvanized posts, cable fencing, and access gates. Utilities work includes relocating existing RCWD 36-inch and 24-inch steel pipes, abandoning a 12-inch line in place, protecting EMWD sewer lines in place, and SCG relocating a gas line.

Period of Performance
The contractor is required to begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving the award notice to proceed. The total period for completion will be specified but is negotiable.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed in Riverside County, California.
