Multiple NSNs for Eaton Aerospace LLC Jackson MS Sole Source NSNs   3

INTRODUCTION:
DLA Aviation intends to award a sole source, indefinite quantity, long-term contract to Eaton Aerospace LLC, CAGEs 62983 and 90166. The contract will include Multiple NSNs for items including Cylinder Block Units and Hydraulic Parts Kits that are used on various Weapons Systems including the F-15 Eagle, F-16, C-130 Hercules, and C/KC-135 Stratolifter Aircraft. Other interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than December 22, 2016. The proposed action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis as supported by a Justification and Approval (J&A) for Other than Full and Open Competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The estimated award is January 2018. The anticipated period of performance is five years with a one-year base period and four, one-year option periods. The contract will be awarded with an initial group of 48 NSNs, but may be expanded to include additional sole source items.

CONTRACT/PROGRAM BACKGROUND:There is currently an existing five-year, long-term contract with Eaton Aerospace LLC under Contract Number SPE4AX-13-D-9409 for 72 NSNs which will expire in January 2018. The contract is firm-fixed priced and was issued on an unrestricted basis. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should be emailed to the Contract Specialist, Alesia Hayes at alesia.hayes@dla.mil no later than December 22, 2016. The maximum length for responses should not exceed two, one sided, 8.5 x 11 inch pages (cover page does not count), font no smaller than 10 point.
