Multiple Environmental Governmental Acquisition (MEGA)   12

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Multiple Environmental Governmental Acquisition Strategy (MEGA) as a firm-fixed-price contract.

The goal of this contract is to provide environmental support in response to numerous requests from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, primarily supporting projects assigned to the Mississippi Valley Division and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) Regions 5 and 7.

Work Details
The work under this contract will require personnel, plant, and equipment to perform a wide range of remedial action services at hazardous waste sites.

Tasks include:
- Environmental removal actions
- Remedial actions
- Excavation
- Transportation and disposal of hazardous waste
- Construction and operation of groundwater treatment plants
- Dredging contaminated sediments
- Installation and operation of in situ treatment technologies such as air sparging and chemical oxidation
- Water line installations
- Utility line replacement/remediation
- Erosion control
- Sampling and laboratory analysis of various environmental media
- Installation and maintenance of monitoring wells
- Preparation of work plans and reports
- Demolition activities
- Public relations efforts.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a basic ordering period of three (3) years with one two (2) year option period.

Place of Performance
The majority of the work is anticipated to be conducted in support of USEPA Regions 5 and 7 projects.
