7/25/2023 The Announcement is being amended to provide the amended Solicitation document 6973GH-23-000152 Mod 0001. The revised solicitation shows the revised proposal due date of July 28, 2023 and the corrected wording on page 77. The amendment requires acknowledgement. A signature is required on the first page.

7/13/2023 The Announcement is being amended to extend the proposal due date to July 28, 2023 at 4:00 PM, CDT. The Performance Survey is also being corrected. The date on the orginial form is incorrect. The survey is also due July 28, 2023.

The FAA has a current requirement for a Multiple Award Electrical Construction requirement. This Procurement is 100% set aside for SMALL BUSINESS Interest. The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 238210 Electrical Contractors Building and other wiring installation Construction. All Offerors must be registered in SAM. www.SAM.gov with the NAICS Code 238210.

The FAA contemplates a multiple award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract in the Electrical Construction trade. The contract performance period is contemplated at a 1-year base performance period and (4) four one-year option periods to be exercised at the sole discretion of the Government. IDIQ Task orders will be placed against the multiple award contracts to fund projects throughout the year. It is estimated that over $12 million in electrical construction task orders will be issued over the course of the entire contract period including all option years. Your attention is directed to Sections L and M of SIR/RFO 6973GH-23-R-00152 for instructions for preparation and format for submission of proposals. Please read the solicitation in its entirety and follow the submission guidelines to ensure a responsive bid. All Factors must be addressed. There are fill-ins throughout the document that must be addressed.
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS: Any Questions must be submitted in writing and sent via e-mail to (nia.glover@faa.gov). All Questions must be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2023. This deadline will allow time for responses to be provided in advance prior to the proposal submission deadline. Questions and Answer responses will be periodically posted directly to SAM. Background
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a current requirement for a Multiple Award Electrical Construction requirement. This Procurement is 100% set aside for SMALL BUSINESS Interest. The FAA contemplates a multiple award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract in the Electrical Construction trade.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, facilities, materials, services, transportation, preservation, packaging, packing and marking required to furnish and supply the services/data/information/documentation set forth below all in accordance with the terms, conditions, and provisions set forth herein. Detailed descriptions of the supplies or services to be furnished can be found in the Statement of Work.
