Description

The OGC requires Contractor support to provide legal services to support its Multiclass Securities Program. Services include providing recommendations and advice with monthly multiclass transactions, as well as providing general legal advice and assistance for the Multiclass Program, mortgage-backed securities, structured finance, and administrative and securities policy law required to facilitate Ginnie Mae's overall objective of ensuring liquidity in the secondary mortgage market.

Background
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO), on behalf of National Mortgage Association (“Ginnie Mae”), the Office of General Counsel (“OGC”), located in Washington, DC, intends to issue a solicitation for a firm-fixed price (FFP) indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity (“IDIQ”) and award multiple task orders for multiclass legal services. The OGC requires Contractor support to provide legal services to support its Multiclass Securities Program. Services include providing recommendations and advice with monthly multiclass transactions, as well as providing general legal advice and assistance for the Multiclass Program, mortgage-backed securities, structured finance, and administrative and securities policy law required to facilitate Ginnie Mae’s overall objective of ensuring liquidity in the secondary mortgage market.
