Mtu Engine Course of Instruction   3

Background
The solicitation is for a course of instruction for the Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) to provide advanced level training on the function, design, and troubleshooting of the MTU system installed on the Combatant Craft Medium (CCM) and Heavy (CCH) crafts. The training is intended for personnel who will be involved in possible emergency situations, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of the systems.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide personnel, management, materials, equipment, and facilities necessary to conduct courses of instruction that familiarize students with the design, function, repair, calibrating, emergency procedures, and troubleshooting of MTU engines. The COI shall be targeted at the shop-level maintainer (CM2/CE2/M), and advanced electronics level (CE3/M). The contractor shall conduct a 5-day CM2/M mechanical and 4-day CE2/M electronic COI as well as a 4-day CE3/M electronic COI. Additionally, custom courses may be negotiated at the order level within the scope of this Work Statement.

Place of Performance
Training shall be conducted at MTU Product Training Center 42450 Executive Drive Canton, MI 48188 and/or locations listed in section 6.1.
