MTS Load Frame, Model 318.10 Replacement Manifold

Background
The Fleet Readiness Center Procurement Group Patuxent River, MD 20650 intends to award a purchase order to MTS SYSTEMS CORPORATION on a sole source basis in accordance with 13.106-l(b)(i), as only one source is reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The OEM of the Government owned equipment is MTS SYSTEMS CORPORATION and they retain proprietary rights. The OEM is the only source that can meet the Government's specific requirements and mission in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Work Details
The contract requires a replacement manifold for a Government-owned MTS Load Frame, Model 318.10, Serial No. 203 manufactured by Mechanical Test Systems (MTS). The scope of work includes providing and installing one (1) replacement Hydraulic Manifold 298.12 on the MTS Load Frame, to include notional items (gaskets, hardware, etc) and labor to install replacement part.
The Contractor must be knowledgeable with the equipment referenced and be able to perform all work per Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. The Contractor shall provide all tools and material required to perform the requested services, ship all materials and supplies necessary via traceable means, schedule all services through the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC), and provide a Field Service Report (FSR) within seven days of completing service.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the requested services includes delivery within 30 days for one item and within 77 days for another item.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW), NAS North Island P.O. Box 357058, San Diego, CA 92135-7058.
