MT FLAP BLACKF 12(1) FLAP Rehabilitation Two Medicine Road / MT NP GLAC 12(2) FLTP Rehabilitation of Two Medicine Road

Background
The contract is issued for the rehabilitation of Two Medicine Road under the MT FLAP BLACKF 12(1) and MT NP GLAC 12(2) projects. The goal is to enhance the roadway infrastructure in Glacier, Montana, which aligns with the agency's mission to maintain and improve transportation facilities within national parks.

Work Details
The work consists of reconstruction of asphalt pavement roadway, replacement of existing culverts, and mill and overlay of two parking areas along with other small items of work. Specific tasks include:
- Mobilization
- Construction Survey & Staking
- Contractor Quality Control
- Contractor Testing
- Construction Schedules
- Soil Erosion Control measures including Fiber Roll, Check Dams, and Dust Control Watering.
- Earthwork tasks such as Clearing & Grubbing, Removal of Pipe Culverts, Roadway Excavation, and Select Borrow.
- Slope Reinforcement using Placed Riprap.
- Aggregate Base Courses including grading and ditch reconditioning.
- Asphalt Pavements & Surface Treatments including milling and paving with asphalt concrete.
- Incidental Construction tasks such as installation of various sizes of pipe culverts, curb and gutter work, sidewalks, water and sewer systems, turf establishment, and environmental design for streambed channel reconstruction.

Place of Performance
The project is located approximately 4 miles northwest of East Glacier, Montana.
