Description

Project: MT BOR NPS 2021(1), Yellowtail Dam Area Roads Improvement

Background
The project, MT BOR NPS 2021(1), Yellowtail Dam Area Roads Improvement, is located in Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area north and south units in Bighorn and Canyon County, Montana and Bighorn County Wyoming. The project will be advertised during a period when viewing of the project may not be possible due to snow. The work will be solicited with a base schedule A and one option X. The option may be awarded at the time of the schedule A award or within a period of 2 months after schedule A award.

Work Details
The project includes various construction tasks such as road improvements, campground road work, parking area improvements, access road maintenance, and other related construction activities. The work consists of base schedule A which includes all work except on the Yellowtail Power Plant Road, and option X which consists of work on the Yellowtail Power Plant Road. Specific details on the location and type of work for this project are provided in the attached preliminary plans.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed in Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area north and south units in Bighorn and Canyon County, Montana and Bighorn County Wyoming.
