MSC Training Center EAST -Hampton Roads   3

Background
The contract is issued by the Military Sealift Command (MSC) to provide lodging and transportation for authorized Civil Service Mariners (CIVMARs) assigned to MSC in Fort Eustis, VA.
The goal of the contract is to ensure that CIVMARs have access to suitable accommodations and transportation during their assignments at the MSC Training Center East Hampton Roads (TC-E HR).

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide lodging and transportation as specified herein, including necessary facilities such as furniture, equipment, and supplies.
Facilities must be located within a 25-mile driving radius of MSC TC-E HR, excluding any hotel separated from Fort Eustis, VA by a tunnel.
Transportation to and from the contractor's lodging facility and MSC TC-E HR will be provided by the contractor.
The commute time from each hotel to the training facility must not exceed one hour each way during normal peak traffic hours.
Lodging facilities must meet the following requirements:
1) Hotels must be rated by AAA with a minimum Three Diamond Designation;
2) Each room must include a microwave and refrigerator;
3) At least two functional washers and dryers must be available at each site;
4) Free internet connection must be provided in each room;
5) Access to an on-site Business Center with computers and printers;
6) Proximity to public transportation or provision of shuttle service;
7) Sufficient single rooms must be available at all times for CIVMARs, with an estimated average of 50 rooms per night up to 95 rooms per night.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is five years, from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2031.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in Fort Eustis, VA, specifically within a twenty-five (25) mile driving radius of the MSC Training Center East Hampton Roads.
