Msc New MHE Forklift PDI and Safety Cert

Background
The Military Sealift Command (MSC) is issuing this contract to provide new Material Handling Equipment (MHE) forklifts for Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and safety certification. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the MHE meets all safety and operational standards as required by the Department of Defense (DOD) and Navy regulations.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform the following tasks:

1. Complete and sign CDRL 0001 Final Inspection form for each unit listed in Table 1, providing a copy to the MHE Program Support Office at MSC Norfolk upon completion of service.

2. Complete and sign CDRL 0002 Fork Inspection form for each unit listed in Table 1, providing a copy to the MHE Program Support Office at MSC Norfolk upon completion of service.

3. Complete and sign CDRL 0003 MHE Safety Certification form for each asset (forklift, side loader, manual pallet jack) listed in Table 1, providing a copy to the MHE Program Support Office at MSC Norfolk upon completion of service.

4. Ensure all management and technical personnel performing services can demonstrate experience with safety certifications on shipboard-approved MHE as per NAVSEA SW023-AH-WHM-010, NAVSUP PUB 538, and equipment technical manuals.

5. Interpret, troubleshoot, and reset HYSTER on-board dash displays using proprietary hardware and software.

6. Staff and equip the service independently without assistance from MSC personnel.

7. Submit security forms for each employee servicing MHE onboard government installations to MSC Security Officer for access approval.
