MRPO - Timber for Crane Barge Decking

Background
The contract is issued by the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) as part of the Mississippi River Project Office. The mission of the USACE is to provide vital public engineering services in peace and war to strengthen the nation's security, energize the economy, and reduce risks from disasters.

The goal of this contract is to procure timber for crane decking for specific barge projects (DB 766, 767, and 768), which will be replaced by USACE employees.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide solid oak timbers with the following specifications:
- 120 pieces of 10 inches X 8 inches X 313 inches
- 140 pieces of 5-1/2 inches X 5-1/2 inches X 100 inches
- 750 pieces of 5-1/2 inches X 5-1/2 inches X 75 inches.

All measurements are in inches with a tolerance of +/- 1/8 inch. The cost for packaging and shipping must be included in the per piece price. Delivery is requested to be no later than four weeks after contract award.

Period of Performance
Delivery date for all parts is required no later than October 12, 2024.

Place of Performance
Products will be delivered to the Structures Maintenance Unit at US Army Corps of Engineers, located at 25549 182nd Street, Pleasant Valley, IA 52767.
