MRI Trailer Maintenance

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the VISN 7 Network Contracting Office, is issuing this solicitation for MRI Trailer Maintenance services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational readiness and maintenance of MRI trailers used at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, SC. This includes both preventative and corrective maintenance to support the healthcare technology management needs of the facility.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide a quote for MRI Trailer services that include repair and preventative maintenance. The scope of work encompasses full service on the MRI Coach located at various sites including the US Naval Hospital in Charleston, SC, Savannah OPC in Savannah, GA, N. Charleston Clinic, and Myrtle Beach Clinic. Specific tasks include:
- Travel, labor, and replacement parts for corrective maintenance and repair services.
- Maintenance responsibilities cover heating, air conditioning, chiller systems, lift gates, roll doors, lighting (interior and exterior), humidifiers, air ride suspension systems, belly compartments and doors, ceiling tiles, roofs (including leaks), and generators (additional cost for generator repairs).
- Four preventive maintenance visits per year for the entire unit (excluding generator) with one additional visit for the generator included in contract costs.
- Compliance with OEM’s recommended preventative maintenance guidelines.
- Provision of electronic reports detailing preventative maintenance results including asset numbers and serial numbers.
- 24/7 technical support from OEM and emergency clinical support as needed.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, SC and other specified locations including US Naval Hospital in Charleston, Savannah OPC in Savannah GA, N. Charleston Clinic in N. Charleston SC, and MYB Clinic in Myrtle Beach SC.
