Background

Work Details
The work under this contract involves furnishing all necessary plant, labor, materials, and equipment to perform levee enlargement and slide repair activities. Key tasks include:

- Mobilization and demobilization
- Clearing and grubbing
- Removing existing surfacing
- Excavating and stockpiling existing levee material
- Constructing semi-compacted levee embankments
- Constructing semi-compacted stability berm embankments
- Fully compacted levee embankment construction
- Placing crushed stone surfacing
- Ramp construction
- Mowing and turfing
- Implementing stormwater pollution prevention measures
- Ensuring environmental protection
- All other associated work required for successful project completion.

Period of Performance
The contractor is expected to begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and complete all work within 275 calendar days.
