MQ-9A Unmanned Air System (UAS) Engineering Logistics Support (ELS) and MUX MALE Capability Development and Procurement

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Cost Plus Fixed Fee Order N0001924F0168 under Basic Ordering Agreement N0001922G0006 to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), Poway, CA, for the procurement of Electronic Warfare (EW) Pods, installation of the EW Pods, integration, systems test and evaluation, calibration, and logistics support for Non Recurring Engineering (NRE) to support the Development and Production program. This order was awarded to GA-ASI in the amount of $31,003,428.

This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplier or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort was solely within the discretion of the Government. This effort is covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 23-0100 redacted version attached to this announcement.
