MQ-9A Electronic Warfare (EW) Production

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Firm Fixed Priced Order N00019245559 under Basic Ordering Agreement N0001922G0006 to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), Poway, CA, for the procurement of Electronic Warfare (EW) Pods, EW Aircraft Kits (A Kits), GCS Kits, Thresher Kits, Maintenance Laptops, Maintenance Toolkits, Aircraft and GCS Spares, EW Pod Spare Kits, Thresher Spares, and Systems Engineering Support to support the Production program. This order was awarded to GA-ASI in the amount of $77,411,774.

This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplier or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort was solely within the discretion of the Government. This effort is covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 23-0100 redacted version attached to this announcement.
