MQ-9A Delta Support Equipment and Non-Recurring Engineering   2

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Cost-Plus-Fixed- Fee (CPFF) modification (P00005) to contract N0001922G0006-N0001923F0021 to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), Poway, California, for the procurement, transportation, and installation of delta support equipment at seven (7) operational sites, and Interface Control Document (ICD)/ Interface Requirements Specification (IRS) requirements to support MQ-9A sensor capabilities. This modification also includes associated non-recurring in support of flight and strike operations of the Marine Air Ground Task Force Unmanned Aircraft System Expeditionary Medium Altitude Long Endurance MQ-9A Block 5 Reaper air vehicles and Ground Control Stations for the Marine Corps.

This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." The determination by the Government not to compete this effort was solely within the discretion of the Government.
