Description

NAVAIR, on behalf of its international cooperative partner, The Government of Australia, awarded a CPFF and FFP mixed-type contract modificaiton to NGSC for the procurement of Pack, Export, Storage, and Installation in Australia for the AUS MOB 1, AUS MOB 2 for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) MQ-4 Triton program.

This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10.U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302.1, only one responsible source and other supplies or services will satisfy requirements per Class Justificaiton & Approval (CJ&A) 18-0565 - redacted version attached to this announcement. As the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the MQ-4 Triton UAS, NGC is the only contractor with the requisite technical knowledge, expertise and technical data that can meet the Government's needs within the program's cost and schedule constraints.
