MQ-25 Stingray AAC LRIP Lot 1

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), NAS Patuxent River, MD, has awarded a Firm-Fixed Price Advance Acquisition Contract N00019-22-C-0048 for Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) Lot 1 to The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Missouri, for the procurement of long-lead components, materials, parts, and associated efforts in support of the MQ-25 Stingray Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) required to maintain the planned production schedules for the United States Navy. This contract was procured non-competitively pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, "Only one Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements". The Boeing Co. is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the MQ-25 Stingray UAS and is the only responsible source possessing the engineering data; technical skills; and requisite knowledge of the design, fabrication, performance, and operational characteristics of the MQ-25 UAS required to perform the necessary follow-on production efforts within the required timeframes and without substantial duplication of costs.
