Background
The Red River Army Depot in Texarkana, Texas requires Mowing and Grounds Maintenance Services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The services include Type 1 mowing, Type 2 tractor/bush hog mowing, edging, and miscellaneous ground maintenance services such as leaf raking, shrub trimming, litter and debris removal. The government will pay actuals only and Service Contract Act Wage Rates are in accordance with the current Area Wage Area Determination.

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish all materials, supplies, parts, tools, equipment, transportation, and perform all operations necessary for lawn and vegetation mowing and edging throughout the depot. The work includes industrial type mowing (Type 1 and Type 2), edging once every other month, and other grounds maintenance work such as leaf raking, shrub trimming, litter removal, and debris removal. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from June 13, 2024 to December 31, 2024 for the base services. There are also options for additional periods: January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025; January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026; and January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2027.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Red River Army Depot in Texarkana, Texas.
