The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center Pacific requires a survey of areas below the main deck of NOAA Ship Oscar Dyson with very limited reception for handheld radios, design of a signal boosting system, the material for the system, construction oversight, and system commissioning.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

(ii) Solicitation number NM-AN2120-23-01200 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ).

(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04.

(iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing; the small business size standard is 1,200 Employees.

(v) Line items are as follows:

CLIN 1: Radio Repeater Survey and Design.

CLIN 2: Radio Components.

CLIN 3: System Commissioning.

(vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The vendor is to provide the items in CLINs 1 - 3 per the attached statement of work.

(vii) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point.
