Motoren-und Turbinen-Union (MTU) 20V4000M93L Center Section Overhaul Parts

Background
The United States Coast Guard, Surface Force Logistics Center has a requirement to procure genuine OEM diesel engine parts from Rolls Royce Services America (RRSA) to support the overhaul of the MTU Series 4000 diesel engines installed on the 154-foot Fast Response Cutters.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability of high-quality parts necessary for the maintenance and operation of these critical vessels.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide the following CLINs, when requested. Each kit shall contain the parts identified in the Statement of Work. All parts must be genuine OEM parts; alternate part numbers will not be accepted.

THIRD OPTION YEAR

Delivery is required within calendar days after receipt of each order.

Period of Performance
The contract consists of one (1) base year and four (4) option years, each lasting twelve (12) months.

Place of Performance
Delivery of parts shall be F.O.B. Destination to the USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center located at 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226.

Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail)
This solicitation for RRSA OEM parts for the MTU 20V4000M93L center section appears to have a confirmed incumbent based on prior award 70Z04026C62102Y00 to Johnson & Towers (value $470,600; 03/25/26–05/11/26) for RRSA MTU Model 20V4000M93L series diesel engine parts. The scope aligns with the current requirement to supply genuine OEM parts (no alternates) in support of overhaul of the same engine model used on the Coast Guard Fast Response Cutters. Additionally, a closely related prior contract (70Z08021D16002B00) awarded to Pacific Power Group involved opening/inspecting/testing/overhauling MTU 20V4000M93L components and providing service-ready OEM parts for the same vessel class, indicating continuity in engine-specific parts support.
