NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Letterkenny Army Depot intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed price supply contract for brake motors (Part Number 54E12008002H) to MPC Products Corporation D/B/A Woodward MPC, Inc., 6300 West Howard Stree, Niles, IL 60714-3406, CAGE Code 19710. The period of performance of this contract will include one (1) base year and one (1) options year. The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP). The TDP is proprietary to the original manufacturer to MPC Products Corporation D/B/A Woodward MPC, Inc. This will be Freight On Board (FOB) destination to Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA 17201-4150. The 2017 North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 335312 Motor and Generator Manufacturing, the size standard is 1,250 employees and the product code is 6105 Motors, Electrical. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies and Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements . Solicitation number W911N221R0006 will be released on or about 8 MAR 2021, with a closing date on or about 8 APR 2021. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation.
