Motion RFI

The General Services Administration (GSA) Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS), Acquisition and Procurement Centers of Excellence (APEX) 5 has released a Request for Information (RFI) on behalf of the GSA Office of GSA Information Technology (GSA IT). The purpose of this RFI is to conduct early market research to understand industry capabilities and interest in supporting the Modernization and Operations of Technical Infrastructure (MOTION) acquisition. This acquisition will replace the GSA Digital Innovation for GSA Infrastructure Technologies (DIGIT) Task Order and will provide a wide array of IT support services, including IT service desk and on-site support, server/storage/network management, end-user laptop and mobile device management, network and telecommunications support, cloud management, credential/access management, and digital workplace services and software. The contract will have a performance period of seven years and will require worldwide enterprise IT services to support 29,000 users across various locations.

This RFI aims to promote competition and provide subcontracting opportunities. It is important to note that GSA is not obligated to release a future solicitation, and the information received from industry through this RFI will be used for market research purposes only. The required capabilities for this contract include enhancing customer experience metrics, developing an Omnichannel strategy, supporting automated workflows, transitioning to Anything as a Service (XaaS), providing hybrid workforce support, and offering organizational management/business project management office services. The place of performance for this contract includes the Contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Europe, South Korea, Japan, and other Asian countries.
