MOSS LANDING JETTY REPAIR PROJECT, MONTEREY COUNTY, CALIFORNIA   3

This acquisition is proceeding as a Full and Open Competition, Invitation for Bid (IFB). This Procurement will be conducted under FSC CODE: Y1PZ, NAICS Code: 237990. Estimated Cost Range is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The work includes the repair of the Moss Landing north and south jetties, the replacement of two danger signs, two project signs, two aids to navigation and removal of timber piles. The jetties are located near the entrance to the Moss Landing Channel approximately 95 miles south of San Francisco. Damages to each jetty include displacement of existing armor stones. Damaged areas on the jetty with displaced armor stones must be reset using the existing armor stones on site or supplemented with new armor stones.

This requirement is a Full and Open Competition. It will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) which will result in the award of a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract.

The solicitation will be available on/about October 19, 2022 for viewing/downloading the solicitation and documents.

ALL BIDS will be due on/about November 18, 2022 at 1:00 PM PST. The specific date and time will be identified in the solicitation. BIDDERS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BEDELAYED, CANCELLED, OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION, AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS.

Plans and specs will not be provided in hard copy or CD format. The solicitation and all amendments for this acquisition will be posted on SAM.gov once the IFB is issued.
