The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, TX, intends to issue solicitation 15B10618Q00000020 for the provision of Mortuary/Burial Services. The services will be provided to individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment, located at the Federal Correctional Complex, Butner, NC. The physical address is Federal Correctional Complex (FCC), Old NC Highway 75, Butner, North Carolina 27509. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price. The award will be made to the responsible vendor or individual who submits the lowest quote to the Government based on price related factors only. The contract periods for the service will consist of a base year with an effective date on November 1, 2018 through October 31, 2019 with four 12-month option years for renewal. The forthcoming Statement of Work will provide all the details regarding the required services for the estimated sixty eight (68) Domestic Shipments, six (6) International Shipments, five (5) Basic Embalming, sixty eight (68) Cremations and six (6) Local Burials. The solicitation will be available on or about June 29, 2018 and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov.
