Description

Background
This contract is issued by the Hanscom Air Force Base for Mortuary Affairs services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the provision of comprehensive mortuary services, which include preparation, disposition, transportation, funeral, and interment services. The contractor will be responsible for delivering these services in accordance with the standards set forth in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the following tasks:

1. Preparation of remains for burial or cremation.
2. Disposition of remains in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
3. Transportation of remains to designated locations.
4. Funeral services including coordination with families and provision of necessary resources.
5. Interment services at designated burial sites.
6. Compliance with all standards outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) regarding mortuary affairs processes as per DAFI 34-160.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is a 5-year ordering period from the date of award.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA.

The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract.
