Monterey Ranger District Janitorial

Background
The USDA Forest Service, specifically the Los Padres National Forest, is seeking to establish a janitorial services contract for the Monterey Ranger District. The goal of this contract is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the District Office building, which serves various operational functions. This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns, with a focus on ensuring that all responsible sources can submit quotations for consideration.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing janitorial services and supplies at the Monterey Ranger District Office, which encompasses approximately 7,531 square feet. The services include but are not limited to: cleaning of restrooms, floors, office areas, break room, conference rooms, copier room, and main lobby.

The office contains 20 offices/desks, 5 bathrooms, 2 showers, 1 break room, 2 conference rooms, and 1 copier room. The contractor must supply all necessary equipment, supplies, transportation, labor, and supervision required to complete the tasks outlined in the Statement of Work.

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance is from June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027. There are also four option years available for renewal: June 1, 2027 to May 31, 2028; June 1, 2028 to May 31, 2029; June 1, 2029 to May 31, 2030; and June 1, 2030 to May 31, 2031.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Monterey Ranger District Office located at 406 South Mildred Ave., King City CA 93930.
