Background
The Monongahela National Forest is seeking a contractor to replace the roof systems of some bathroom buildings at the Stuart Recreation Area near Elkins, WV. The buildings have had active roof leaks for a considerable time and neither structure has electrical service. The project is 100% set-aside for small businesses under NAICS Code 238160 with a size standard of $19M.

Work Details
The scope of the contract includes the total replacement of the roof systems of the specified bathroom buildings, including potential replacement of insulation in the rafters. Each roof has an approximate gross area of 660 square feet, including skylights. There are four skylights on each building with approximate dimensions of 47”x30”. The contractor is responsible for verifying building and roof dimensions prior to purchase and installation of materials. The project location is at Stuart Recreation Area near Elkins, WV.

Period of Performance
The contract requires the contractor to commence work within 10 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and complete the entire work within 82 calendar days.
