Monongahela National Forest Road Maintenance (Grading) IDIQ   2

Background
The USDA-FS, Monongahela National Forest has a requirement for a Performance Based Service Contract for Forest Wide Road Maintenance. The contract is anticipated to be an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity type (IDIQ), Firm-Fixed Priced Contract.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all expertise, labor, supervision, services, equipment, tools, supplies, permits, licenses, transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform road maintenance. All work will be performed between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM on weekdays. The contractor must exercise caution and care to prevent unnecessary conflict with or potential hazards to road users. They are also responsible for erecting necessary signs with flags on each end of the section of road being worked and ensuring that the road remains passable to traffic while work is being performed.

Period of Performance
Performance during the Base Period will be from Date of Award through December 31, 2024. Each successive Year will be 12 months in duration and begin immediately upon expiration of the previous Year.

Place of Performance
The performance of services under awarded task orders could be required for any of the Ranger Districts on the Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia. Specific locations include Cheat / Potomac Ranger District; Parsons and Petersburg, WV; Greenbrier Ranger District; Bartow, WV; Gauley Ranger District; Richwood, WV; Marlinton / White Sulphur Ranger District; Marlinton and White Sulphur Springs, WV.
