Pairs of Little Tern form colonies in an open-spaced aged asphalt area at Naha Military Port (NMP). The nesting ground is highly susceptible to human disturbance and inclement weather, such as heavy rain and typhoons. Jungle Crows, cats, dogs, rats and other animals have been observed to prey on the Little Tern. The JEGS requires installations to take reasonable steps to protect and enhance the known endangered, threatened and host nation protected species and their habitats.

**Required Certifications and Licenses to Include with Quote: Submit following professional certifications of qualified contractor personnel**:
1) Proof of bachelor's degree for key personnel in biology or other related field (contractor must submit biologist's copy of diploma).
2) Submit resume of all key personnel to proving of five (5) years of experience working in bird-related activities in Japan.
3) Submit three (3) scientific/academic paper on bird-related topics authored by key personnel.
4) Proof that contractor is permitted by the Okinawa Prefectural Government to deal with TES.
5) Project List: The contractor shall submit a list of projects that demonstrate 10 years of experiences for the key personnel working on migratory bird related activities in Japan within the last 10 years. The list shall provide the following: a.) Title, overview, and location of the project, b.) Agency or
organization for which the work was performed. c.) Project period which adds up to five (5) years excluding any overlaps.
