MOLLE Close Combat Set   3

Background
The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Natick Division (ND) has a requirement for the Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment (MOLLE) Close Combat Rifleman Set (CCRS) and MOLLE Close Combat Automatic Weapon Set (CCAWS) in support of Product Manager Soldier Clothing and Individual Equipment (PdM-SCIE). The CCRS and CCAWS are Government-designs and will be acquired on a full and open competitive acquisition, with a Small Business Reserve, utilizing Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures to obtain best value for the Government.

Work Details
The effort is projected to be a five-year IDIQ contract consisting of the following quantities estimated total quantity of 111,528 CCRS and 13,344 CCAWS. Ten percent spares of individual components will be required. The total quantity of this contract is defined by the dollar threshold. Items shall be made to military specification CO-PD-02-02.

The Contractor shall furnish all necessary personnel, facilities, equipment, and materials to accomplish the tasks detailed in this SOW. All materials used for production of the Close Combat MOLLE equipment shall be safe and suitable for their intended purpose and pose no health hazards to Soldiers.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is 5 years.
